My First Job

My First Job

Last year, I got my first job, and I was super excited! I worked at this cute little café just around the corner from my house. The place was really cozy, with wooden tables and comfy chairs. Every morning, I’d walk there with a big smile on my face.

My job was pretty simple. I served coffee, tea, and cakes to the customers, cleaned the tables, and washed the dishes. It wasn’t too hard, but I had to be quick and careful. I wore a blue apron and a white shirt, and I felt pretty cool in my uniform.

My boss, Maria, was the nicest person ever. She taught me how to make the best cup of coffee. At first, I was a bit nervous, but Maria was so patient with me. She showed me how to use the coffee machine and how to steam the milk just right. After a few days, I got the hang of it.

I met a lot of new people at the café. Some customers came in every day and ordered the same thing. There was this one guy who always wanted black coffee, and a lady who loved green tea. I really enjoyed chatting with them—they were super friendly and made me feel at home.

By the end of the day, I’d be pretty tired, but I always felt good about the work I did. I loved my job because I learned a lot and made some great new friends. It was an awesome experience, and I’ll never forget my first job.
